The Freemont Group is a rapidly expanding, provider of trust and company administration services to international clients. We provide a range of professional corporate services for the incorporation and management of offshore and Cyprus-based companies
With offices in The Netherlands, Cyprus and Dubai we employ 25 staff and are now looking to expand to over 30.
The Freemont Group has drawn together a skilled, multi-lingual professional team including qualified accountants, tax planners, and attorneys. In order to keep up with expansion the Dubai office, located in Al Qusais, is seeking to recruit individuals for the position of Trust Officer.
The Trust Officer will report to the Corporate Services Manager. The successful applicant will be responsible, either individually, or under supervision as part of a small team, for a diverse portfolio of managed companies. You will be able to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, regulatory bodies and other third parties. You will be responsible for administering the companies in your portfolio. You should be comfortable and effective dealing with professional advisors, tax specialists, lawyers, banks, investment advisors, and government agencies.
â€¢Performing corporate administration functions
â€¢Attending and producing minutes of board and shareholder meetings
â€¢Filing annual returns and annual accounts
â€¢Liaising with attorneys, clients and regulatory agencies
â€¢Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
â€¢Assessing tax and legal implications of transactions
â€¢Preparation of resolutions and other ancillary documents as required
â€¢Client liaison and inter-office co-ordination
â€¢Ensuring that all financial and non-financial reporting requirements are met on a timely and regular basis
â€¢Opening bank accounts
Applicants should have sound knowledge of one or more of the following:
â€¢Offshore corporate services
â€¢Company law (any jurisdiction)
â€¢Import-export and preparing and dealing with related documentation (customs documentation, bills of lading, letters of credit, etc)
â€¢Intellectual property protection
â€¢International tax planning
â€¢Corporate taxation in India in the context of international tax planning
You should have some knowledge of accounting and be fluent in written and verbal English. Knowledge of Dutch is a strong advantage. Exposure to international tax planning structures is an advantage. Candidates will have experience in working in a corporate, legal or administrative environment and be eager to learn and develop in the field of corporate services. The position demands a hands-on, organized, responsible, flexible and motivated team player. Superb interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines are essential.
